Cervical Ectropion

Definition: A condition that affects the cervix and is common in younger women, particularly those using oral contraceptives. The cervical tissue in women who have cervical ectropion is more susceptible to abrasion which can occur during sexual intercourse which often leads to post-coital bleeding.
