How Green Is Your Period?

Reducing waste and learning new ways to save money are high on most of our minds these days. Every year women spend billions of dollars on sanitary protection products such as pads and tampons -- pads and tampons that eventually end up in our landfills and sewer systems. What does this have to do with making our periods green? Everything! We can save thousands of dollars and help reduce waste by making a change in what we choose for sanitary protection during menstruation.
